Problems with new PC

Hi, I've recently bought a new computer and installed the program, which I've been using for 15 years and I love. I'm using Windows 10. But... I have a big problem. Each time I want to "save" or "save as" or any other action, it tells me "access denied". Strange thing is, it does save the changes but if I want to save it in another format it doesn't let me. Also, it doesn't let me see the errors looking in Tools", I can't see them highligted as usual. I ask you to help me, please...

I'm  using the latest version I found, which was 5.1.2
Thank you for answering. I don't know how to fix this, I've been working with Subtitle Workshop for more than15 years since I'm a proffesional translator/subtitles.

we do not support that version, but I invite you to try the new SW7 (in beta phase) at download section and give us your opinion.

I'd love to, but I don't  know if I can use a program in beta... Do I need something "special"?
And if not, what version can I use of the old ones?

you can use it in beta phase without anything special, in this phase it means that not all the features are implemented and it may contain errors. If you want to use a more stable version you can use SWC which is based on our classic version 2.51.
